Joe knew EXACTLY what Pete was going through- losing the person you love more then life itself in such a tragic way, it hurt. It really did. But it seemed to affect Pete more then it affected Joe when he’d lost his girlfriend in the car crash, but that difference was something Joe found himself connecting with and understanding. “I mean, everyone deals with grief in their own way, yeah?” he whispered to Andy as Pete began falling asleep in his bed, sobs still shaking his body. &nMy Smile's an Open Wound 58
